  • Are your services legally binding?

    Yes arbitration awards are binding and enforceable under the Federal Arbitration Act. Mediation outcomes can be notarized and submitted to court when applicable.

  • Do I need a lawyer?

    Not necessarily. Mediation and arbitration are both designed to work without lawyers, but you may consult one if you'd like. You’re welcome to bring your legal counsel to a session.

  • What is mediation?

    Mediation is a voluntary, private process where a neutral third party helps both sides communicate and agree on a resolution without taking sides or making decisions for them.

  • How long does mediation take?

    Most cases resolve in 1–3 sessions depending on complexity. Each session lasts about 60–90 minutes.

    Absolutely. All sessions are private and protected. No information is shared without your consent.

  • What is arbitration?

    Arbitration is a private dispute resolution process where both parties agree to let a neutral arbitrator review the facts and issue a final, binding decision.

  • When is arbitration better than court?

    Arbitration is faster, more discreet, and often more affordable than litigation. It's ideal for those who want resolution without the public record.

  • Is the decision enforceable in court?

    Yes. Arbitration decisions issued through JP Mediation Group are enforceable under the Federal Arbitration Act.

  • What type of DNA testing do you offer?

    We offer AABB-accredited DNA testing for paternity, sibling, grandparent, and other relationship confirmations with court-admissible results.

  • Do I have to go to court to resolve the outcome?

    No. We offer DNA + Mediation Packages that allow you to receive your results and privately agree on next steps (custody, support, visitation, etc.) all in one place.

  • What are your DNA prices?

    DNA + Mediation Package: $600 (includes 2 sessions)

    DNA Test Only: $400

  • Where does testing take place?

    We offer in-office appointments, mobile collection, and hospital visits (upon request). All samples are handled discreetly and professionally.

  • Do I need to pay before the appointment?

    Yes. All services must be paid in full prior to scheduling. We accept all major forms of payment online.

  • Where are you located?

    We’re based in New Jersey, offering in-office sessions on Wednesdays and virtual appointments Monday–Friday.

  • Do you make hospital or mobile visits?

    Yes. In-hospital and mobile appointments are available upon request.
